In the same way that the ‘20/’21 lockdowns introduced the general populous to the joy of Zoom, it also opened my eyes to how incredibly useful self-test auditions can be – especially when you need to find a cast of half a dozen toddlers!
For this Bellamy’s Organic campaign casting, we were able to present our client with a choice of over sixty babies (from well over a hundred and twenty submissions), ranging in age from 6 months to 3 years, without one parent having to pack up baby and supplies for a trip into the city, find a park four blocks away, navigate nap times and tantrums and face a waiting room full of other grumpy babies. No siree. All auditions could take place in the child’s own home, at the optimum time of day and in front of familiar faces. Priceless!
