When Auckland went into a further, prolonged lockdown in August ’21, the Christchurch film industry stepped up to fill the gap and keep productions happening in the lead up to Christmas. Over those three or so months we saw a string of campaigns, which would ordinarily be shot in the big smoke, being produced out of Ōtautahu …and our line producers, location scouts, crew and talent got put to the test.

This Air New Zealand tvc is one of my favourites from that busy time – a strong cast of radiant, memorable Ōtautahi talent, giving it their all and bringing a little ray of optimism  to our screens, just when we all needed it.
